Findings

I found you in ellipses

Just like buried closet clothes,

In woven and un-weaving

Soft and broken, partial prose.

I found you in a grass-stain

Like a forest green tattoo –

A brushstroke made by falling

Into fields of me and you.

I found you in the wistful,

In a movement of the wind –

Like lifted, bright white sails

Guiding wavy violins.

I found you in inanimates

And in their subtle sources,

In the energetic yearnings

Of reciprocating forces.

I found you in reflections,

In connected, present tense.

I found you causing everything

To be just as it’s meant.
